Midwest Trail Ride
(MTR) is a privately owned
horseman's campground bordering
Hoosier National Forest (HNF), 15
miles south of Bloomington Indiana.
We offer both organized rides and
daily camping from the end of March
to the beginning of November.
From MTR property, enjoy
immediate access to nearly 100 miles
of well marked trails and the
timeless beauty of Hoosier National
Forest and the Deam National
Wilderness. These trails will take
you to some of the most beautiful
scenery that Indiana has to offer.
Come and join us for a fun time and
great trail riding adventure. Lakes,
streams and diverse stands of
hardwoods, pines and cedar grace the
hills and valleys of the forest
landscape. Spring is a great time to
visit the forest painted with pink
and white blossoms of redbud and
dogwood. Wildflowers add to the
dance of color throughout spring,
summer and fall. Autumn colors are
even more spectacular. reds, golds,
russets and browns greet you at

Brand new lighted and
covered 8'X8' box stalls and
bedding are provided at no
additional cost for campers on
electric sites. Hay, tack, farrier
and dentist services are available
at reasonable prices. Our
Outpost stocks western tack, saddles
& pads, and vet supplies. |

Winter Camping:
Winter camping at MTR begins in December and
ends in March.
Outpost Store Specials:
The Outpost Store will post store
specials and clearance items here on a
regular basis.
Camping Deals:
MTR will post camping deals for certain
dates here on a regular basis.
